I am considering purchasing a brand new 2008/09 Jeep Patriot but I heard about Chrysler and how they are in financial trouble. I would hate to buy the vehicle and then be stuck for parts if something goes wrong with the vehicle and have no-where to take it for log book maintenance/servicing. Also, my warranty could be down the drain if the company goes bust. Do you think the Chrysler company will fold? Do you think I should take this into consideration when deciding whether to go ahead and purchase the Jeep Patriot? I am in Sydney Australia. A: If you are considering any jeep, buy a tj wrangler. the aftermarket part support is huge, and they are easy to work on if something goes wrong, which isn’t often. parts will be made for the wrangler 100 years from now… The patriot is a good mileage road car, but don’t expect many jeep-like bomb-proof off-road qualities from it.
