1/16/04 If the questioner is speaking specifically about yellow roses then the modern yellow rose can trace it’s origens back to Rosa foetida Persiana, whose pollen was used to propagate the yellow rose. S’oel d’ Or ( Maybe spelled incorrectly) by the French Hybridizer in the 1800’s. Check on it, I could be wrong. Grace Wetherill Maine Rose Society Member 1/16/04 Grace: Thanks a lot for helping.
