Janova gives results only in some percent of animals?
A. The cause of anoestrus is variable (non-functional ovary, anatomical defects of ovary or oviduct, uterine infection, malnutrition etc.). Amongst these, Janova acts only in case of non-functional ovary hence the cause covered is limited. The efficacy percent will thus be low. The research has shown that Janova is able to induce oestrus in approx. 30% animals that is quite good in view of the variable causes involved. For better results, Janova therapy should be combined with Exapar, mineral mixture and anthelmintic.
