A grantee may request a waiver of the class size requirement. Any such request should be sent to the Director of the Office of Head Start, with a copy to your Regional Office, with a detailed explanation as to why a waiver is being requested. Absent an approved waiver, a grantee may not exceed Head Start’s class size requirements. Requirement 45 CFR 1306.
