If you’ve only moved a few accounts, transferring your contacts is pretty straight forward (if your provider supports contacts export). We have compiled a list of instructions for some of the providers we support. As you can see, many of the instructions are quite similar so even if your provider is not listed, the instructions might still be useful. Depending on how you’re planning to import your contacts, the format you should use for the export differs. If you’re planning to import your contacts in either Gmail / Google Apps or Microsoft Outlook, the “Outlook CSV format” is the most appropriate option. However, if you’re planning to import your contacts into a desktop application like Apple Address Book or Mozilla Thunderbird, vCards might be a better option. If you’re unsure about what format to use consult the documentation for the service or application.
