The charges posted directly to your CARS account by Summer Sessions are for the unit fee(s) and the program fee, which are the only charges that you pay to Summer Sessions. When Financial Aid calculates the amount of aid offered for participation in Travel Study, they consider not only Summer Sessions charges, but also any out-of-pocket expenses they anticipate you may incur during your participation. For example, an estimated amount for your airline ticket, personal expenses, etc. will also be budgeted into your offer.
