First of all make sure you are loading the games from the TFD launcher. If you are experiencing slow load times with the launcher, or would just like to start the games manually you can use this silent patch released by the XWIS team to install a group of working shortcuts in your start menu. If you are still having trouble getting these games to load you may be having a copy protection issue. It appears this DVD uses a version of Safedisc that may not be compatible with all DVD drives on the market. Personally, I use an image file on my hard drive mounted with Daemon Tools to play The First Decade. For various reasons, Safedisc really dislikes this idea and has blacklisted many such virtual devices. Although it is not exactly the most legal workaround, you can try downloading a Safedisc hider utility. When used correctly this application effectively masks your virtual drive to avoid Safedisc’s blacklisting, allowing you to play the games without receiving “insert CD” errors.
