Ive seen orphanages before. What is different about Mudzini Kwetu?
There are three important distinctions. First, this is an independent home founded and established by emotionally devoted caregivers who treat the girls as family members. It is not an institution created or run by the state or the government. Second, Mudzini Kwetu incorporates, stresses, and highly values education for its girls. Third, Mudzini Kwetu has a long-term vision to grow and to support the girls through college. Our vision is that they be empowered to become agents of change to alleviate the poverty of their peers.
