Wear of the green PT sweatshirt or sweatpants with the emblem is not authorized with civilian attire. Uniform items that are exclusively military in character are not authorized for wear in civilian attire. The Marine Corps emblem with “USMC” makes the new sweat suit exclusively military in character. Wear of the plain green PT sweatshirt is authorized with civilian attire (unless specifically prohibited by your command).
