Yes and No. HCA can control anything that can receive X10 signals. HCA can receive from anything that generates X10 signals. Don’t be fooled when you read articles about home automation in to thinking that with the correct software (HCA or anything from anyone else) you can live in a Bill Gates like mansion. There are X10 devices that you can add to your home that are very capable – but without the proper hardware, HCA (or software from anyone else) can’t control even a lamp.
