Ive seen a similar chess set for a cheaper price. Whats the difference?
Many factors influence value and pricing when evaluating marble, natural stone, onyx or gemstone chess sets. These include the quality of the workmanship, stone quality, polishing, stone color and/or fossil content. Chess boards and pieces that have been exceptionally handcrafted offer significantly more value and beauty than sets that have been poorly constructed, manufactured, mass produced or machine-made. Only the highest quality stone and workmanship is selected for each of our handcrafted chess sets. Khan Imports will not ever compromise it’s quality standards by importing, or offering a chess board that does not meet our requirements. As a result, “rejected” poor quality chess boards are usually sold with substantially cheaper machine-made chess pieces in local markets overseas, picked up by other importers or exporters, or purchased very inexpensively for quick liquidation.
