The ‘VCD’ and ‘DVD’ options in the ‘Save muvee’ dialog box only save your output as VCD-compliant (MPEG-1) or DVD-ready (MPEG-2) files. In order to actually create a VCD/DVD to play, you will then need to drag and drop the MPEG-1/MPEG-2 file into a suitable third-party CD/DVD-authoring program.
