Our Student Assignment Plan and transportation service are based in part on the student’s legal residence, so it is important to notify the school district when your address changes. Two address verification documents must be provided to process a change. (Address verification must contain the parent/guardian name and be dated within the past eight weeks. Examples include current telephone, utility or cable bills; mortgage statement; health or car insurance documents; paycheck stubs; official mail from public agencies such as the court system or DSHS. Residential leases are only accepted if they are dated within the past eight weeks and are signed by both the landlord and the tenant.) Follow-up address verification will be required in the case of a new lease and no other address verification documentation. All address changes must be made through the SPS Service Center; individual schools are not able to process your move. Click here to change your address.
