Whoever gave you the gift voucher has earned 1 point for every 2 gifted. Therefore, you cant claim the corresponding points on the voucher. However, if when you reserve your airfare using the voucher, the airfare amount is greater than the gift voucher, you can earn points on the money you will have to pay out of your own pocket. For example, if the gift voucher was 100 and the reserved airfare was 150, youll obtain 25 points (corresponding to the 50 difference).
