Ive read that theres a chemical in Teflon that may cause cancer. Does liquid zeolite remove it?
An EPA advisory board has called one of the chemicals in Teflon a likely carcinogen. That chemical is perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). Studies have found that PFOA is present in low levels in the blood of 90% of Americans, which is not surprising given that Teflon is very widely used. Approximately 70% of the cookware sold in the U.S. has a non-stick coating.
