Be very careful about feeding her up – depending on *how* thin she is, her body could have a very bad reaction to more calories than she is used to. Some general rules for refeeding: Have the vet check her out – if she is really below weight, it may be necessary to feed her some Science Diet I/D, which is a special easily digestible food – at least for a while. If she has been eating regular kibble and doing fine, then you can feed her *up to* but no more than the amount she would eat when she is normal weight, per day. That is to say, if, when she is a normal weight for her size, she would eat two cups of regular kibble per day, that is what you can feed her now. The only difference would be that you should feed her several small meals per day that add up to that, never give her one or two large meals. Meals that are too large could cause her body to have a bad reaction, either in her metabolism or by bloating, either of which would be lethal. You should soak her kibble in water – dog
