Plone is the content management system that the SOP site runs on. It’s a system designed to make it so that you don’t need to be a code wizard to be able to edit the content of the site. Instead, you use an editor interface similar to the one in Word to do so. Kupu and FCKEditor are two different editor interfaces available for use within Plone. You can use one or the other. Each one has some technical bugs, but in general FCKEditor, which is newer, seems to be work a bit better with the site in most cases. It also has another advantage over Kupu: the ability to embed Flash and other multimedia files such as YouTube videos.
