Ive heard that you need Vitamin D to absorb Calcium, so why isn there any Vitamin D in the MagiCal?
A. Adequate Vitamin D intake is necessary for Calcium absorption; however, it does not have to be consumed at the same time as Calcium nor do the two nutrients need to be combined in one supplement. Vitamin D is obtained primarily from exposure to sunlight (10 minutes a day is sufficient) and it is found in multi-vitamins, fortified milk, and eggs.
