I’ve heard that Winter Park has world-class skiing and moguls. What does that mean?
Winter Park Resort has some of the best skiing in the world and it’s a combination of things that contribute to this world-class environment. First off, we get a lot of snow. Some 365 inches per year! Most people think that all resorts get the same amount of snow and that just isn’t the case. No major resort in Colorado gets more snow! Due to the high elevation, lots of trees and exposure to the sun, our snow quality stays good for a long time. The quality of the snow is phenomenal! Secondly, the resort is laid out very well. It’s easy to get around, with few lift lines and lots of terrain. And then there is the Mary Jane, the southern mountain of the resort, home of the best moguls on earth and some of the finest tree skiing anywhere! This is skiing like no other. Oh, and don’t forget our very friendly town. No attitude, hype etc. Great eats, great people in a laid back atmosphere. It just feels like you’re right at home up here!
