Ive heard that there are insoluble and soluble fibres; do they all work the same way?

This makes soft bulky stools to speed up the movement of food. Soluble fibre mixes with water to form a gel in the body, which may help lower cholesterol, maintain steady blood-sugar levels and assist in weight control.
