All shimmer products can help diffuse light because light will bounce off the shiny particles rather than be absorbed by them but shimmer products do not reduce the appearance of wrinkles. If anything, shine tends to make wrinkles more visible, especially over the eye area. If wrinkles are a concern but you still want some shine, our Sheer Shimmer Illuminating Liquid does offer a very subtle shimmer finish and gives skin more of a soft glow rather than an obvious shine. However, we still recommend that you do not apply any shimmer directly over obviously wrinkled areas.
