From iTunes Preferences: 1. Choose the iPod preference pane. 2. Turn on the “Enable disk use” checkbox. Your iPod will now appear on your desktop just as any other external hard disk would. You may open it in Finder and copy files/folders to/from it. We suggest you create a folder on your iPod and name it something meaningful such as “Backups” or “My Data”. This folder can then be selected as a target in ChronoSync. This does not work for the iPhone or iTouch.
