I’ve heard that giving blood regularly could eventually affect my physical strength. Is that true?
No. After donating, your plasma, red blood cells and platelets are decreased temporarily, but this does not affect your overall strength or ability to perform. Your blood contains many more blood cells than needed and the supply remains entirely adequate after giving blood. Just remember to take it easy the day you give blood and drink plenty of fluids.
