It is true that churches of Christ do not use musical instruments in their assemblies, but music is an important part of every gathering. We always sing, but it is singing with the human voice only. We do this for two reasons: the New Testament endorses singing with the human voice only (no where in the New Testament can it be shown that the congregations used instruments) and everyone can come and participate without concern for doctrinal differences or personal opinion.
