There is a choice of health insurance plans. The Connector will help individuals choose and sign up for the plan that is best for them. These plans are subsidized. An individual or an employer can choose from a number of commercial health plan options. Enrollment (sign up) in Commonwealth Choice will begin on May 1, 2007 for health insurance coverage beginning July 1, 2007.
