Ive heard of an email alias. What is it and how does it work?
An email alias looks like a regular email address, but is directed to a different email box. For example, your may ask your customers to write to contact@mybusiness.ca (alias name) or services@mybusiness.ca (alias name) depending on their enquiry. However, to make managing email easier for you, both of those alias emails may be directed to one central email box at Owner@mybusiness.ca (real email address). In this example, if you wish to check for new email from contact@mybusiness.ca, you will log in to the Owner@mybusiness.ca email account. You can use both the alias and the real email address to send emails, but all replies will be received in your real email account.
