Ive heard forms vendors have been working with DWC to make their forms EAMS-compatible. How can I get a list of approved software forms vendors?
While many forms developers have been working with DWC to test their forms to ensure they will work in EAMS, the DWC will not certify software vendors or forms developers. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure compatibility of their forms with DWC scanners. DWC has provided the forms testing lab for that purpose. A vendor’s visit to our testing lab does not ensure their developed forms are compatible with EAMS. Therefore, DWC will not be releasing a list of the vendors who have visited the lab. If you’d like to use the lab to test your forms, contact EAMS@dir.ca.gov and put “OCR Forms Testing Lab” in the subject line of your e-mail. DWC’s OCR forms are available on the EAMS Web site. Important printing note: The preferred method for most of the forms which will yield the best results from our testing of various printers from Adobe is: “Fit to Printable Area” with “Center and Autorotate” turned on and zoom factor at 96 percent.
