Ive had my unit for 5 years hooked to the same HP printer, but recently it started to lose the print jobs and I would get garbled print. What could be the problem?

Try to switch the printer to find out if it is the printer or the unit. We have discontinued this item and we have no more available stock, but we do have the ICA100 and 100B which will convert the serial to parallel.
