Ive had my application form for some time, can I still use it? Are there different versions of the accreditation pack?
The current scheme has the title Counsellor/psychotherapist Accreditation Scheme and was introduced in January 2005. All forms for this scheme will be accepted until April 2009. The requirements for applying for accreditation have been the same since January 2005. Even though there is a new pack available for 2008, which has different wording, the requirements are unchanged. • A revised application pack was introduced in July 2008. This is the pack which is downloadable online and the one which we currently send out from the office. It is a clearer, plainer-worded version of the earlier forms. • From 1 April 2009, you can only apply on the new forms. • If you are in doubt about the forms you have, please request / download a new pack, or contact Professional Standards for help.
