I’ve got some injuries. Is CrossFit safe for me?
Yes. CrossFit is safe for everyone. Every workout is scaled for current ability, even if your current ability is temporarily limited. We can modify any workout to support the healing process, while providing a great workout for the rest of your body. Your whole body doesn’t need to languish as some parts of it heal. CrossFit is based on multi-joint movements, the kind of movements for which your body was designed. As such, they are the safest and most response-eliciting movements you can do. At Ross Valley CrossFit, we’ve combined these movements with an appropriate level of intensity in order to get the results you want. As with any physical training, there is a risk of injury when coaching skills are poorly focused and/or the coach’s knowledge base is inadequate. You will not find this at Ross Valley CrossFit.
