The QIF file format specified that dates were formatted as a two-digit year. Quicken is unable to properly import transactions with a date in the year 2000 with only two digits. Intuit has recommended that a four-digit year be used instead of a two-digit year for QIF file formats. DVCU is making Intuit’s recommended change to the Ultra-Access software. This change will format all dates in the QIF file download as a four-digit year. The change will be made as of December 31, 1999. This change will be compatible with Quicken 99 and Quicken 2000. It will not be compatible with Quicken 98 without a patch from Intuit. Click here for information directly from Intuit.
