This may be because you have not allowed the Union to have information about you. At some point in the registration process with the University a data protection box has been pressed which has told the University NOT to pass on personal details to the Union. This is often done unintentionally but is quite easily fixed. If you go back to ‘my portal’ at www.staffs.ac.uk and go to your student records where you can edit ‘who may receive my data’ – you can then check the box that says that you are happy for your details to be given to the Students’ Union. Your details will come to us overnight – your problem with the Students’ Union website should be resolved therefore the day after you change that option.
