You will need a decompression utility. One of the most popular utilities is called StuffIt Expander. Drag the file you’ve downloaded on to the StuffIt Expander icon, and that is all you need to do. Please make sure that your Expander preferences are not set to automatically convert text files to Mac format before unpacking the file. This setting is on by default for some versions of Stuffit and will cause errors in the program if you use it. You may change this setting back after you have expanded the MI/X file.
