The latest version Pro 7 allows you to import your video files from formats such as: avi, wmv, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, AVCHD (H264 High Definition). Now with Pro V7 your HD files are optimized so you can play/analyze your captured video at a high resolution. For direct “live capture” (streaming) into Pro .V7 you require a Mini DV or HDV camcorder using an IEEE1394 (Firewire) input and cable. If you are using version 6 you can upgrade to Version 7 by visiting the Upgrade page on the siliconcoach website.
