Ive determined that Creatives card shows support for more color depth at high resolutions than the Intense3D 100. If the hardware is the same, what gives?
Given the engineering background at Intergraph AND the high priority placed on customer satisfaction and support, we have specified resolutions and frequencies that are “guaranteed” by design. (It is important to note that there are other Rendition-based boards advertised on the Web revealing resolutions/frequencies that are known to be outside the guaranteed operating conditions). However, the driver provided with Intense3D 100 does allow users to select these resolutions in the event they don’t encounter any visual artifacts when exceeding the guaranteed operating conditions.
