Ive deleted some files on my music player, but the disk space continues to be shown as occupied. How can I free this disk space definitively?

Connect your player to the PC and run a Scandisk on it. Note : This only applies to the customers using a PC. For those using a Mac computer, they have to use Disk Utility in order to check the disk and if necessary repair it.
