Ive cancelled a notice using FBO web services but cannot post a new notice of the same notice type using the same solicitation number. Why?

Cancelling a notice does not delete the notice. Cancelling merely informs the public the notice is no longer active. The notice remains visible in the system. You must use the deleteNotice web service method in order to be able to use the same solicitation number and notice type.
