Oftentimes, averages are used by salespeople. Even if you could get a guarantee about what your spa could cost, there would be so many conditions to the guarantee as to make it almost useless. There are lots of variables. How often it’s used, by how many people, at what temperature, where it’s located, how much wind, etc., all these variables affect how much the spa will cost to run. See #8 above, and you can see what makes sense, and what doesn’t.
