I’ve been placed on Academic Probation for next semester. What does that mean?
If your semester GPA is below 2.00, you are placed on academic probation. Once you are on academic probation, if you again earn a semester GPA below 2.00, you will be suspended from the University. Probation is meant to encourage you to make the behavior changes necessary to succeed at Truman. Success includes, at minimum, a cumulative GPA of 2.0. If your GPA is consistently lower than that, you will not be able to graduate. Academic probation is disappointing, but it’s also an opportunity to examine your behaviors and priorities. Here are some questions to ask yourself.
