Q: What if I have twins or triplets? A: If you are expecting twins or triplets your maternity entitlements are the same as if you were expecting only one baby. Please note that your date of return may need to be adjusted accordingly and you will continue to receive the pay scheme to which you are entitled. Q: What if I lose the baby? A: After 24 weeks of pregnancy an employee who suffers a still birth will automatically have the right to 26 weeks’ maternity leave and pay. However, maternity pay will cease should the date of return to work be before the end of the maternity leave period. Loss of the baby less than 24 weeks into pregnancy is not covered
