Ive been diagnosed with pemphigus vulgaris and started treatment. How long will it be before it works?
This varies from person to person. Once your doctor has found the drug regime that works best for you PV can often take up to six months to become stable and for you to be on the lowest effective dose. But PV is difficult to control and it may take longer. Sometimes it can take up to a couple of years for flare-ups to die down.
