Ive already got a save for xxyy. Will downloading a save from Booyaka overwrite it?
In most cases, yes. Most games only allow you to have a single save file on a VM, which may possibly contain the saves for multiple people. In some cases you can have multiple saves on a card. You can recognise saves like these, as their filename on the VM will be unique for each player (such as containing your initials), or will have a different number per save (which is the way Resident Evil Code Veronica does things). If you have a save like this then there is no danger of it getting overwritten (unless the new save uses the same initials.) However, the game may not be designed to handle multiple saves on the same card. The best advice is to back up your save first to a second VM, and then try downloading the file. In this way if anything goes wrong you will not lose your original save. – Answer by Richard Munn, 28th February 2000. Back to the top..
