I’ve already got 300 credits of OU study towards a BSc (Hons). If I now register for T191, will I still have to study 120 credits before I can claim a BEng (Hons)?
The regulations for BEng (Hons) state that you have to complete 120 credits of study after registering on T191 (including the 15 credits from T191 itself). However, this requirement is generally waived for ‘continuing’ OU students who decide that a BEng (Hons) is more suitable for them than their original choice of degree. Such students should write in person to the Programme Director for Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics, Computing and Technology, to request a waiver.
