I am just going to go back to my room, pretend like I am sleeping, and wait for someone to knock on my door and tell me what I am supposed to do!” There will be a thousand seemingly trivial routines that suddenly become stressful events. Only those willing to face these challenges need apply. Q: Well, now I’m scared! I don’t think I can do this. A: You can. And you’ll have help. We’ll talk through potential home stay scenarios and brainstorm strategies for dealing with difficult situations during orientation. Staff will check in with you regularly and you’ll be able to call us as problems arise or if you just need to vent. In terms of the growth
