Yes, two versions exist and the version that loads is specified differently based on how you choose to launch the applet (see questions 33 and 34 for additional details). The ‘StandardClient.class’ does not include redlining tools. The ‘GenericClient.class’, also sometimes known as the ‘VPViewer Pro’ includes redlining tools and the ability to implement the ‘titleformat’ parameter.
