He had an up and down career. It was plagued with injuries, going all the way back to his Phillies days. His wins alone wouldn’t get him into the Hall, so if he has a chance it will be because of his strikeouts. A person’s character also plays a part when being elected into the Hall, and he has done a lot of charity work. So that can help him get elected as well.
