Case 1: If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 in 32-bit mode and MADRIX 2.8 or 2.8a, this issue can occur. Please search for the ‘npptools.dll’ on your harddisk and copy this file into the MADRIX application folder. Case 2: If you are using a Windows operating system in 64-bit mode and MADRIX 2.8 or 2.8a, this issue can occur as well. Please search for the ‘npptools.dll’, ‘packet.dll’, and the ‘wpcap.dll’ on your harddisk and copy these files into the MADRIX application folder. Please also make sure to install the WinPcap drivers with the MADRIX installation first. This issue will be fixed with the next release version.
