A redundant connection can be provided by inserting the AuviTran AVRed-ES between the DCU5D and DSP5D that are cascade-connected (via the RJ-45 connector). No other EtherSound devices can be inserted. You can set up the AVRed-ES with AVS-ESMonitor; however, do not display the AVS-ES control page on AVS-ESMonitor during the operation when devices are cascade-connected. Since operation when the PM5D and DSP5D are cascade-connected requires all of thecommunication bandwidth, if the AVRed-ES control page is displayed, commands between the PM5D and DSP5D cannot be transmitted/received. This results in failing to control the devices.
