ISO files. do i have to convert them?

You will want a program that reads the ISO file and then puts the image on the disc, you don’t want to just burn the ISO file itself onto a disc. Either way, you shouldn’t have to convert it. Edit: I know what your problem is. You burned the ISO file to a disc. However, you want your disc to appear as though it is the disc of whatever you get the ISO file from. Now you just have a disc with an ISO file on it, not a disc that took that was written using the data in the ISO file. You need a disc burning program (there are plenty; I’ve always happily used ImgBurn), then select “write image file to disc” (or similar wording) and then select the ISO file.
