Isn’t wisdom just common sense?
 Not really. It may be common to some people because they have been taught in God’s ways. However, Proverbs 3:17 refers to God’s wisdom as “…her ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peace.” That sounds nice but having a pleasant set of strategies to use in a challenging, hostile, or unfamiliar situation is a major advantage. Also see Ecclesiastes 7:19 and Ecclesiastes 7:12. Furthermore, having the humble and open mindset to apply wise strategies is also not altogether common.
